Outstanding family-run garage - reliable, honest, trustworthy, very reasonable prices, and they've always gone the extra mile for me over the years, including running me home the 5 miles after I've dropped off my vehicle, then bringing it back. They have a rescue truck & took care of the situation when I unfortunately had a crash & my vehicle wasn't driveable - took me home as well. As a woman, it's also been refreshing that they treat me as an ordinary intelligent adult! - have always explained work needing doing in a comprehensible way but without talking down to me. Have been using them for nearly 20 years and can't see myself changing!

Very honest, very down to earth, labour rates of £34 per hour. In my case I was actually buying a Hilux from the garage owners Alan and Heather Wilson, their own vehicle, and they not only picked me up and dropped me back at Harrogate station, but were completely honourable throughout the transaction and even went to the trouble of obtaining through their accountant the special VAT form needed to export the truck without paying VAT, the VAT 410 form. Unreservedly recommend for routine servicing; if there is a very complex job they will tell you if they don't have the necessary diagnostics.
