Fred and his hard working team have been looking after the servicing, repairs, and maintenance of all my cars for years and always provide a first class service; willing to go the extra mile, if you need it. Their advice and communication have always been excellent throughout and I have total trust in them. Over the years I have introduced many friends and family to them, and they have always been very grateful for the recommendation.

I booked car in for MOT and service a week ago but in the meantime new issues occurred. Autovolks found the problems ( which I had suggested to them) and fixed them on the day, having given me a quote which they adhered to. On the way home I had a puncture a few hundred yards from the garage (avoiding a cyclist) so turned back to Autovolks who are a Black Circles agent, they had a tyre in stock and changed it immediately, first class customer service ??

Autovolk are a friendly family run business. They have serviced, fixed and mot’d my vehicle for over 7 years and I have always been delighted with their work. They have courtesy cars or pick up and drop off service. When I wanted to get my vehicle completely resprayed they introduced me to a reliable company. Autovolk will have my custom for anything to do with my Campervan as they know the vehicle well and are competitively priced. Kirsty and Patsy in the office go out of their way to answer queries and facilitate actions. Fred and Sean and the mechanic team know their trade and no job is too small. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now and couldn’t recommend Autovolk highly enough.

Having had distinctly average service from local Audi main dealer I am really happy I have found and used this garage. My S5 had an aircon service, brake fluid change, and recently a lower front suspension wishbone all done to a good price and really quickly. Just chatting to the mechanics they know their stuff and the owner is a genuine top chap, and the reception folk are v cheerful and helpful Can’t recommend highly enough. They also are able to update the cars electronic srvice history, so from my perspective no need to go to a main dealer any more - happy days

I called at the garage a few minutes after my drivers side wing mirror came loose and smashed into several pieces This was at about 10.30. I was told to come back at 15.30 and they would have the part and fit it for me. Later that day my other wing mirror glass came loose and I managed to take this off without it breaking. I returned at 15.30 and the garage and the new glass was fitted and the other one secured back in placed. The service I received was exceptional and it only cost me a total of £30.

The service here is brilliant. Sean went above and beyond. I cannot recommend this garage high enough.

As usual, Fred and the crew sorted us out efficiently. Our first MOT for a while. Rang us within 2 hours to say it was ready. Wouldn't take any car anywhere else, for whatever it needed. Offered a courtesy car but not needed.

Very good , will defo use them again.

This garage seemed local, popular and a good bet, however the attitude of the staff is not very customer focused. It's a bit rough and ready.

Fantastic team that completed this repair quickly, cheaply and took the worry about dealing with a warranty company away from us. Honest and trustworthy and kept us updated about what was needed and also not needed,[we queried cam belt - after checking confirmed not needed] Always friendly and helpful staff, where nothing is too much trouble.

Booked car in for DSG gearbox oil change and for a new cam belt and water pump to be fitted. Advised that the front brakes were badly worn so that job was done at the same time. Very happy with the way the work was carried out and at a reasonable price Courtesy cars was supplied whilst the work was carried out. Good job

Absolutely brilliant service. From the 2 young ladies in the office to the highly skilled and experienced team of gents on the shop floor right up to the top man that is... Fred. I really cannot recommend Chorley autovolk highly enough. The whole team are so pleasant, you're made to feel at ease from the moment you step from your vehicle. Very highly skilled technicians, fully conversant with all aspects of the work they undertake. As an ex mechanic I know how hard it is to find a garage you can trust 100%. Chorley autovolk IS that garage.

I have used Chorley Autovolk for some time now, fantastic set up. I would recommend this Garage without hesitation, great service, and very honest prices, vehicle presented back perfect with all documentation in place.

This garage is without doubt the best garage in every way that I ever known and extremely accommodating. I have used this garage for a number of years now ever since my neighbour recommended them and last year they were very busy when I left my mot till the last minute. Not trusting anyone else I took my Mercedes to the main dealer and they failed it and quoted £7000 plus to pass it and make advisory repairs. I contacted Autovolk who immediately took my car in did the work necessary and charged me £700. I have since moved to north wales and yesterday took my car back to Chorley for its mot and a slight repair and no further work required. Absolutely first class in every way and I will continue to ravel the 100 plus miles whenever I need them.

Would not use any where else great set of lads

Avoid the cheap initial quote, they will make sure your car has to have a few things changed to pass to cash in. Servicing is expensive and I didn't want half of the stuff doing. My Merc is half new after being here.

I got a brake pad warning and I asked them to get me a set of pads and discs ( in case they needed doing) for all wheels. I took the car in and they changed the front pads and discs. I was told the rear were ok. Some places would have changed them all just for the work. Very friendly people. I always take my car there as they do an excelent job for a good price.

I’ve been bringing my vehicles to Chorley Autovolk for over 8 years and the customer service and quality of work done has been exemplary throughout. The staff go above and beyond to help make the visit as covenient as possible and they’ve saved me thousands in both servicing and repairs’ costs over the years. Service aside, their level of expertise in a wide variety of areas makes it a superior choice to any main dealership, despite the vehicle being relatively new. Five stars!

this place seemed decent at first but once they had the car they were a bit dodgy. they know how to make the most money from my car

I had the car in at this garage twice, they failed to correctly locate a fault and ended up charging £200 for an attempt at fixing it. On another occasion they did additional works without verifying this would be ok first. When I collected the car, the key was thrown across the floor at me by one of the mechanics that was underneath a van.

I have taken my car/van to Chorley Autovolk for years. I first experienced Autovolk after taking my Audi A3 to the dealership where they found “£2000+” worth of repairs following a service. I rang Autovolk who told me I didn’t need half of the dealerships diagnosis and got my car back up and running for just £600! Since then I have taken my car/van there for everything. Fast, friendly service and always feel I get value for money. Fully recommend this garage.

Been going for years with various Golfs and will be back with our new one when it needs a service. Wouldn't go anywhere else!!

My third occasion for using Autovolk Chorley was simply to have an MOT test on my [ none-German ] car. Whilst they don't open at weekends, I dropped off my vehicle after work and collected a courtesy car. The following day, we swapped back. Forty quid all-in. Unlike some garages, Autovolk Chorley do not charge for courtesy cars; as 'payment in kind' I just made sure it had more fuel in on return than when I picked it up. Having heard nothing at work I phoned in the afternoon - my car had passed with no advisories. It's just so simple with Autovolk; there was no need to contact me, so no-one did. This is in the midst of two weeks arranging an extended test drive with a main dealership, only to arrive on the morning in question to be told the demonstrator had been lent out. The superb no nonsense service at Autovolk Chorley is almost surreal by comparison.

After three members of our family having cars serviced, MOT's and repairs carried out over the last few years I can honestly say we have never had to question any work completed. The staff are friendly and always willing to give sound advice. They work hard to produce excellent results. One one occasion the owner stayed late to wait for a recovery truck to deliver my car after a breakdown.

Interim service and oil and filter change plus aircon service and brake fluid change carried out on my 2-year old A3. Work carried out to a high standard and at a far more reasonable price that I was quoted from the main Audi dealer in Preston. Highly recommended.

I have been a customer of Auto-volk for the past 18 years and they maintain and repair my wife's and my BMWs. They have solved every problem that has arisen to my total satisfaction - and as an engineer myself I'm a fairly well informed. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Had tyres fitted through a scheme , Blackcircles. Tyres were ordered and paid for on the internet, they were delivered to Chorley Auto Volk and we were given a time and date to take our van there. On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. I was asked to wait in reception while the van had the tyres fitted to my specification. No issue with the Blackcircles scheme or paperwork. Would definitely recommend Chorley Auto Volk to anyone who has a VW .

Have Been using Autovolk for over 2 years, its family run and there knowledge of Germany cars is phenomenal, especially Fred. Always friendly and nothing to much trouble. Prices are very competitive and they now do MOTs. Job sorted.

This is the only garage that I would use for repairs, servicing, MOT's etc. I always get a warm welcome and I know that they go 'the extra mile' to ensure that any vehicle repairs or servicing problems are sorted out quickly and efficiently. I have total confidence in them.

I have used Auto Volks for the past 8 years to service and repair a number of different family vehicles of various makes. Each time they have diligently worked to undertake and complete the work to my complete satisfaction. Should a quote be required they are happy to establish the parts required and the costs including labour to complete the work. The garage offers their services for all vehicles not just Volkswagen and have looked after Ford, Fiat, Audi, BMW and Range Rover on my behalf. I am pleased to therefore give them a good garage review as I am always confident when they look after my cars that I will be satisfied with the work.

Fred and the team are really good at making you feel welcome and looking after your motor. I honestly can say I would not trust anyone else to look after my ageing Merc and can thoroughly recommend them.

Car went in for service and mot yesterday and I needed it back at a certain time. They pulled out all the stops to get the parts etc and made sure I had it back in time. Really friendly and kept me updated with progress. Can't fault them

Major repair to my car. They did not know me and treated me like a well known customer. The repair was awkward and took longer than planned, they were closing over the Xmas period so iwas provided with a courtesy car. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Further to my experience replacing a DRL bulb, I was pleased to see Chorley Autovolk is an agent for blackcircles.com Although my appointment was scheduled for 11:30, at my request four Goodyear Vector 4Season Gen2 tyres were fitted by 10:15. I was in and out within half an hour. Nicola provided a coffee (in a proper mug) and Fred the banter (in between calls). Whilst I did see a computer in the office, the only jobs that came in during my visit were dutifully recorded in a big paper diary. Still no rubber plants or fish tanks – just a traditional family business that looks after its customers and their cars.

Took my car for a service a few weeks ago, staff were friendly & car was service to a high standard. Had to go back yesterday due to a power steering fault. Wasn't booked in & the garage accommodated me on the day and fixed my car. They do everything to a high standard and are very reasonably priced. I am going back in a couple of weeks to get my MOT done there too. For as long as I own my VW I will be returning!

Fred, Sean ,Jessica and the Team have scored 100% again with my wife's Merc SLK 250 as they have with my own Merc ML300 . They are all very efficient, friendly, and competent. It would cost twice as much to abtain the same quality from any other specialist. Highly recommended.

Don't mistake informality for amateurism - no polished reception here, but plenty know-how. My debut visit to Autovolk was simply for a DRL bulb. Despite my car not being of a German brand, the job was completed within minutes by Dave who came across as sincere and clearly knows the industry well (inluding main dealership scams). As it was 'only a standard bulb', Dave wouldn't even let me pay! (franchised dealer wanted £20.68). Needless to say, I shall return for other work in future and pay happily. I do not begrudge parting with money for a job well done by honest people.

I have used Autovolk in Chorley for over 15 years. They have worked on my Audi's, my wife's Golf and more recently my daughter's Polo. I am a bit of a petrol head and ran a V8 Audi S4. I wouldn't have anyone but Autovolk under the bonnet. Fred and Sean and the lads have always given me accurate estimates and, if anything unforeseen came up, phoned me before going ahead with any extra work. In addition they have a fleet of new VW courtesy cars for the use of customers. I have had no hesitation in the past recommending this garage to my friends and would do so in the future. I now have to find a similar level of service in the north of Scotland where I will be moving in a few weeks. This will be no easy task. I emphasise I have absolutely no connection with this business except as a (very) satisfied customer.

I have used Autovolk for 10 years, to keep my E-Class Chauffeur vehicles running smoothly.Because of my high mileage, I'm usually there 5 or 6 times a year. It's always a pleasure to visit,and no nasty suprises when I pay the bill! I genuinely feel that their knowledge and expertise exceeds any Mercedes Benz main dealer, and they will always fit you in if you have something go wrong! Most dealers would give you an appointment within 10 days!! My last 2 cars have done 270k miles and 265k miles, with all service work , including tyre fitting,carried out by the team at Autovolk.I would never have anyone else service my vehicles.

I have been using this garage for years and I can not say anything other than great things. The staff are very friendly and always price up before doing any work. It's great to support a local family business too. Faceless corporations tend not to care as much if you return for business whereas local small businesses rely on this so you know that they will treat you right.

Looked for a German specialist as mail dealer prices for disc and pad changes are worse the divorce lawyer fees. Recommended by a friend, so gave them try, first off only front discs and pads need replacing as opposed to main dealers quote that both front and rear needed replacing. Work carried out quickly and using approved parts. No heavy sales push, there're happy to do what you want Also, fixed a bulb at no extra cost - No complaints

I have used this garage for about 6 years now, as its name suggests it specialises in VWs and other German marques. Fred, the proprietor is always ready to help and advise and has ALWAYS sorted me out either the same day or early the next day.
