All three family cars are serviced here - Volvo XC90, Audi A3 and Clio. Compared to main dealers Chalky's identifies what's wrong and sorts it out at a very reasonable cost. Never tries to do more than what's required to keep the cars sprightly and in good repair

We have been using Chalkys Workshop for nearly twenty years, as have a lot of my local friends. From Nissan Micras to BMW 5 Series, they have always looked after our vehicles well. Chalky and his long time mechanic Craig are very good at what they do, and pride themselves on earning their excellent local reputation.

This is a friendly family run workshop in a lane outside of town. They have a range of customers cars outside with everything from old-ish runabouts to some quite fancy cars beyond the age when you stick to main dealers. They will repair rather than replace if that is the economic option. Also when our car was very sick they worked through it in stages to ensure it wasn't "good money after bad".
