Brookside Garage, Sabden

I moved to Sabden last August and in order to afford the move we sold our new cars for two “bangers”. Needless to say one of which is no longer with us but for the time we had them both we took them to this wonderful, friendly, local garage. The service has been reliably top level every time. There have been many visits over the past couple of months while get the cars in to a condition we’re happy with living with. I’ve got an Audi and it came with full Audi service history, it’s a 2006 so I wasn’t going to maintain the full dealer history but thought I would go to a “specialist”. I took it for a full service elsewhere at said specialist and they couldn’t find the locking wheel nut, they made me go and buy one from Audi at £50 then broke it trying to remove the wheels, this was the end of the short lived relationship with the Audi specialist. Took her to Brookside Garage and they found the locking wheel nut that came with the car, took all the wheels off and carried out all the maintenance for a fraction of the quoted cost at the specialist. Another story was one where I tried to change my rear brake discs and pads, thought I had all the tools necessary to do so but turns out you can’t just wind back an electric handbrake... my car was in pieces so I took my wife’s car to work, a luxury I wouldn’t have the next day as she was also working. I rang Brookside before they opened, they answered and said they’d come to my house to see what they could do! I have plenty of stories from my relatively short time living in the village, and they’re all good. I couldn’t recommend this garage more and am so glad I stumbled across them! Thanks Brookside.

Spent some years looking for a reliable repairer and finally found this garage which has never failed to deliver a first class service in the most friendly manner possible. Used them regularly over the last few years and now both my daughters and their husbands all use this garage, following my recommendations. They look after our five cars and two 'twist & go' scooters efficiently and at reasonable cost. A rare and valuable find.
