HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE; Not specialists in BMW. I took my car to the garage with a thumping sound when slowing down, I was told the problem was caused by split rear bushes and if I repaired this, it would solve the sound issue “95%”. Upon completion of the work, I returned to the garage to find the noise still persists and asked to pay £500. Absolutely will never recommend waste of time and money.

Car was with Tony from B&R for 2 days and was worked on by a new young mechanic. Unfortunately when I received my car back it had a bad dent in the drivers door to which I reported it to Tony immediately. His words... I don't see how that would have happened here because all my guys are honest and would tell me if they had caused a dent. (Even the guy that had only been with you 1 day? really? ). Anyway, luckily I have a dashcam fitted and I had recorded my vehicle being driven onto a 2 poster ramp? Now my car is a 2 door and both doors are quite long and need plenty of room to get in and out and a 2 poster ramp would not allow very much room to do this, hence the dent in the same place where the door meets the ramp post! So after spending the best part of £2000 with B&R and after sending emails, I have not even had an apology and I have now had the door repaired at my expense. Beware!!

I took my car in for some repairs and they were very quick and kept me updated before they did any work as I was on a tight budget. They informed me of cost before I have the approval for any work to be done. The staff were very knowledgeable and gave me thorough explanation of what work had been carried out.

After visiting a few local garages after a clutch failure on my car I decided to use b&r garages.. the garages I went to offered to supply and fit a clutch but did not offer to fit a additional part which was needed in order for my clutch to be at its best when fitted.b&r had this knowledge and without this I would if had a clutch fitted that wouldn't of worked as it should of and would of left me with a clutch judder and a further bill to take my gearbox back out to replace this part. In all the service was exceptional frim the reception staff to the knowledge of the fitters and the speed that my car was in for repair and back out again... car come back out to me with a wash and Hoover and driving like new again.. highly recommend and my car won't be going anywhere else other than b&r. Great job well done b&r

Worst ripoff garage you could ever go to. Mr Tony Cash on reception with give you the sweet talk when you first go in, don't be sucked in and don't even go in. if you read other reviews on the web others will tell you to keep away from this garage. You will be told your bill will be £100 as I was and then came out with a bill for nearly £2000. It also took forever to get my car back and I was so disgusted with this garage I had no confidence in the work they had done and I never felt safe driving this car again. Wish I had gone to the local dealer but you think you will save money, but I can assure you you won't, do not use this garage keep well away they should be closed down. I would have given no stars on this review but there wasn't an option for no stars.

My 2004 530d was low on power due to a blocked Diesel Particulate Filter. The BMW dealer solution was to replace it with a new unit at £1200+. :-o I looked online and found the DPF could be removed (with obligatory engine remapping) for around half that cost. I rang B&R, who came up with a much simpler (and cheaper) solution. They removed the filter, flushed it clean with special fluid and refitted for a lot less than removal and remapping. It should be OK for another 100,000 miles, which is well past the point at which I will change the car! They offer many other money-saving solutions for BMW problems and are well worth a visit. (They also do BMW and Mini servicing at prices far less than a dealer)
