Blade (Honda) Runner For the best part of nearly two decades I've been an avid follower of the knowledgeable and pragmatic advice offered by Honest John. In practice, this has enabled me to make a series of sound choices when selecting cars via my previous employers company car scheme, ranging from a Ford Focus and C-max to a Skoda Yeti. Having recently left full time employment, and again based on HJ reviews, I visited my local Blade-Honda franchise in Gloucester to test drive and purchase privately a used-approved 2017 Honda HRV Executive auto petrol. Once the vehicle had been valeted, and during a pre-delivery inspection, areas of paint damaged by bird poo were revealed on the car doors which meant that, reluctantly, I had to reject the vehicle. Blade-Honda then arranged to rectify the damage which they did promptly. However, during a subsequent hand-over inspection, and to our joint consternation, further areas of paint damage were found, this time on the car roof. Noting my disappointment, the dealer then not only declined to sell me the car (which was subseqently sent to auction) but for all the hassle I had experienced (and since Hoda sales had already hit their year end targets) my expectations were truly exceeded when I was offered a 2018 (refreshed) Honda HRV SE auto petrol with only 500 miles on the clock and with a five year service plan at nearly £5,500.00 below market value. Needless to say, it took about a nano-second to accept the offer. Truly stunning customer service provided by Blade Honda and a nice little runner too!
