"Poor customer care at the service desk"

Booked my car in for a service, good price and its a Nissan, booked a courtesy car, no need to pay now sir, £10 on the day, bring both parts of your licence, sounded great. Leaving your car with our service department need not disrupt your day! We can offer you... •Lifts to your home or workplace •Pre-bookable courtesy cars •Pre-bookable collection and delivery service to your home or workplace •While-You-Wait service (dependent on the nature of the work required) My wife dropped the car off whilst with our two year old daughter, on arrival all good except no courtesy car, "oh not booked on our system, all our cars are out, cant help your there". So ever tolerant wife walked around town for four hours. On hearing this I immediately phoned the service desk 20mins after drop off to try and understand how this situation has happened, after some pushing they offered a demo car which was by now to late, I asked why they didn't offer this before and all I could hear was a blank face. I then asked to speak with the Service Manager David, nice chap, wanted to let him know what happened, he listened and apologised and said he would look into it. I heard no more, wife walked back four hours later collected the car, no apologies for her, not even an acknowledgement for her efforts or tolerance of the situation just pay and go attitude, not even a complementary air freshener! Poor customer service
