I always use Phil and his team, they are so friendly and always explain what needs doing to my car before undertaking any work. I asked for an estimate before todays work and they kept the the price exactly. As a loan female I always feel comfortable using this local family run garage

Driving Instructor, - pupil blew tyre on high kerb as parking. Weather dreadful, the came out and asked me to drive in, they changed the wheel, did a quick and very efficient job, and when I asked them how much, they just smiled and said, 'have it on us'. What is there not to like about an approach like this?

This garage is frequented by many local residents, however I feel it is mostly out of loyalty for local businesses. The quality of the work they do is good, and I don't believe they are out to rip anyone off. However, the customer service is not good, and this is mainly based on their lack of communication. I would prefer a garage where someone will phone me up to explain to me my options, and ask before undertaking any work which is going to induce a cost, however small.

I have been using this garage for 40 years - as long as I have been driving and know that any problem will be assessed on its merits. I know that faults will not be found for the sake of generating work. This is backed up by the fact that I travel from Birmingham to have any work done on my car, whether it is regular servicing or MoT or any other job which may occur.
