I had the same intermediate service carried out by another Honda dealer for £120 less than quoted by Balmer Lawn. I had the previous service carried out by Balmer Lawn but on this occasion felt I should get an alternative quote. I am glad I did. I have not used them since.

I have used Balmer Lawn for six years and I cover less than 5000 miles a year. The annual service is always discussed with the service manager who takes into consideration the miles covered as well as the time interval and then carries out what servicing is necessary, not what the book says verbatim. Balmer Lawn picks up the car from my house and returns it serviced cleaned. When an MOT is due, they include this in the cost of the service, which on average, for my Honda FRV is around £200 in total. I may be able to get it done elsewhere a little cheaper, but I feel very confident about the service that I receive. To illustrate the service given, I needed a rear windscreen wiper blade. They telephoned when it was in. I went to the garage, parked in the service area and when I walked in to the reception area I was greeted with " It's already being fitted, I saw you drive in". What more can one ask?
