These guys are a breath of fresh air in an industry with an unflattering reputation. Simon and his team offer helpful advice which isn't at all about emptying your wallet. The guys are friendly and informative. However there's no doubt they have integrity in my mind. Don't go here if you think you might "buy" an MoT. When my cars and bike have been to them, I know they've been thorough. They are a little bit hidden, but worth finding. If they can't help, they'll even suggest an alternative garage to try. Great service at a fraction of main dealer franchises. They'll even make you a cuppa while you wait. Top work and highly recommend.

Simon and his team go the extra mile for you. Use them once and you will always use them. The new MOT section is swish.

Autofix is owned and run by Simon Druce. He has built the business up from scratch and we first encountered the company when they were operating from a wooden shed on a small industrial estate. Now they have moved to Aspenden Industrial estate which is on the outskirts of Buntingford. and recently aquired their licence to perform MOT's. Simon is totally trustworthy and will only do necessary work. If he makes a mistake such as replacing a part only to find it was another, for instance a Lamba sensor, he will rectify it without quibble or charge. My wife drove me down to the service station to collect my car and Simon noticed a rattle coming from her engine. He quickly got it up on the ramp, did what was necessary (a loose heat shield) . As it only took a few minutes there was no charge. Had my wife taken it to a Nissan dealer they would have charged £150. I cannot praise Autofix highly enough.
