Having been involved in owning and restoring classic cars over fifty years, Andy at Autobarn is, quite simply, the best. Where other 'experts'/'specialists' have said "Oooooh! Need new here" or "Can't be done!", Andy has fixed it himself.....properly....as it should have been done in the first place.

Following a very disappointing and surprising evaluation of the state of my Mercedes 320 owned and fully dealer serviced vehicle from New I decided not to succumb to their advice of trading in a “write off” because of The impending repair bills I sought the help of Andy at Autobarn who reassured me that my car was worthy of repair and would be ready to embark on its next 100k miles. True to his word he skilfully tackled the big repair at a very reasonable cost and returned my beloved 320 in a much better state than what I left him with . A very BIG “ Thank You” Andy!

Andy, the proprietor, is a long time (30 years) served Mercedes trained engineer. He is very thorough and can be relied on to sort out any problem whatsoever. He has vast experience, does all the work himself and doesn't rely on any other staff, preferring to do it all himself. You can be sure that he will do all the work required and that it will be done properly. Having said that, should he see anything else, he will ring you and discuss it with you before deciding to do it. I have taken a "non working electric wing mirror to him, which the main agents say was unrepairable and should be replaced with new. Andy repaired it. I have been going there some seven years and have I have no hesitation in recommending him.
