I was recommended to speak to Bruce when i was looking at buying a car that needed the cam-belt changing. From the first time you speak to Bruce you can tell how knowledgeable and honest he is. He always gives you an idea of how much things will cost so you're never shocked, not that you ever will be because the labour he charges is so reasonable. There has never been a problem that he hasn't been able to diagnose, and then fit me in at short notice. He's an expert on BMW and Minis which means that he usually knows what's wrong with my Mini just by speaking on the phone. Even though its a small touch, my car always has a seat cover and paper mat put in so the car is never dirtier than when I dropped it off, which shows he cares about customers. He also makes sure that his courtesy car is available for you. Cheap, accommodating, skilled, honest and friendly, what more could you want from a mechanic. My only criticism is sometimes you have to give a weeks notice to book the car in, but that's only because Bruce's services are in such high demand. Which is a reassuring problem to have from a customers view point! I will not take my car anywhere else and have no worries about recommending Bruce to anyone i know.

For many years Bruce worked for BMW before leaving to start up by himself. He services all makes / models but in particular is an expert on BMW's; he usually knows what the problem will be before seeing the car and can estimate the typical costs and possible worse case scenarios so there are no surprises. He is usually able to fit you in at short notice if a problem arises, is very accommodating to arrange car drop off and collection and is now adding a courtesy car to make life even easier.
