"Serves good coffee"

On collecting the car after the service, the receptionist told me a further piece of work was required at a cost of £80-100. I wasn’t convinced so I phoned the manufacturer to ask if this work should be charged outside of the full service charge. I was told that the work I had been told was necessary was not, in fact, a separate job and should have been carried out as part of the service. I double checked with another main dealer who confirmed what the manufacturer had told me !!

I have had a large number of visits to this dealership for warranty issues on my vehicle. Some of the repairs have been of incredibly low standard and are too numerous to list, but as an example on one visit an update to the vehicle turbo was required. They fitted the part but forgot to update the ECU thereby making the engine go into limp home mode when I was 100+ miles from home. I could go on...problem after problem. Avoid at all costs.

"Check the bill carefully"

I put my Volvo to this garage for four years and every time they disappointed me by adding bits on to the bill. Sometimes charging for screen wash even after I had filled it just before arriving at the dealership. Sometimes other items I had already replaced eg wiper blades but in the end it wasn't a game I wanted to play anymore so I sold the Volvo and bought an Audi. Pity really because I liked the Volvo - I just couldn't live with their dealers.
