AVOID. They sold me a 16-month-old car, which I subsequently found had had 6, yes 6 previous owners before me and had replica VW-Style alloys rather the OEM-VW wheels. Whilst I don’t think they knew due to shoddy VW “142-point” pre-sale checks, they did nothing to fix the problem for me other than get their solicitor to send me a very weak but threatening letter saying I would lose any legal action with them. AVOID.

My mobility vehicle was booked in for a recall on 7th april. It took 2 hours to say the recall needed doing but no parts in. With in 5 minutes they had checked the specs again and it did not need doing. I left with a afaulty car that did indeed need the recall sorting. It was corrected at a different garage.

My Golf mk5 TDI had the Esp light on and I visited the dealer who diagnosed the problem and rectified the problem quickly and with no charge to me. Well done to the Service Manager and to VW.
