Superb service. Got something stuck in tyre whilst visiting the area. All sorted within an hour. Couldn't have been more efficient and friendly. If I needed I'd be straight back!

I got a puncture in a BMW run flat. 255/35/19 so wasn’t expecting help out here in the middle of nowhere and was considering limping to Inverness over 75 miles to get help. Spoke to Alec Forbes so very helpful and in less than 24 hours a tyre has arrived from Inverness and was on my car. Alec said that this far up in Scotland they always do their best to help people out. They certainly did! All the best Alec Pete

I live in Aultbea and use this garage for all my car needs. They have helped me recover broken down camper, fitted many tyres and recently replaced a worn wheel bearing and front strut on my aging Ford They are excellent and very helpful

I was 500 miles from home when I realised my VW camper was out of MOT by two days. I know, I know, my wife has mentioned this at length.. I was in a really bad situation, being the end of the month my car tax wouldnt renew with no MOT so it was head home with no MOT time only 3 days into a ten day trip unless I could get it tested. Forbes garage were just brilliant. They were very busy but managed to do my MOT that afternoon and really did save the day, I cant recommend them enough. Outstanding service and friendly staff.

Alec has transported a couple of vehicles for me when I have broken down allways find the garage very professional and allways happy to help I would recommend this Garage and have done to family and freinds.

We broke down in what felt like one of the remotest places in the Scottish highlands and when Alex arrived he was very friendly, efficient and got us to the garage to get our tyre fixed alongside dropping us off at our lodgings for the night. Not only this but gave us some fantastic recommendations for further sites to see on our ongoing travels

The service offered by this garage is outstanding. I had a flat tyre and my car was immobile in Gairloch (14 miles away) on a Saturday morning.The garage responded within 20 minutes of our call. Removing the tyre and putting on the temporary spare.I then travelled toAultbea where they had a brand new replacement ready to be fitted. The service was so friendly and ultra efficient. Thank you for your efficient and very friendly service. The cost of replacement was such good value considering the remoteness of the location.

Great friendly staff car was involved in a small rtc. Breakdown came within 15 mins Comforted my while he recovered. The car relayed it home for me no messing about. I would recommend this garage Great service.

Great bunch of guys had me back on road in no time

Had a slow puncture due to a damaged alloy, but turned out the spare wheel was in a worse state - new tyre needed and it also needed different wheel bolts. All this was diagnosed after hours and due to the location, was sorted by early afternoon the next day. Super friendly, and many thanks are owed to you Alec!

I can not praise or recommend these guys enough! They managed to fit me in for an emergency (overdue) MOT on the same day as I called, fixed the things in order to for my car to pass and be roadworthy,and were very reasonably priced too. Excellent, friendly, swift service and free coffee while I waited too! ;) I can not be without my car so... Thank you so, so much!

Through the RAC we were helped by Alex from Forbes Garage, while on holiday in Poolewe. Alex was at he house within 20 minutes of my call to the RAC. He jump started the car and did all the tests to diagnose a new battery was needed ( one of the chain of high street battery suppliers had tested it the day before and said everything was ok!) He then fitted the new battery which he had in stock. We couldnt fault the standard of service we received. Thanks Alex!

I had a tyre blow out in my partner's Jaguar, on a fast road in the Highlands. It was pouring with rain at the time. Via the AA, Forbes garage were contacted. I was contacted by the garage, and informed that a recovery vehicle would be with me soon. The vehicle arrived at the time stated, and the driver could not have been more kind and reassuring. I was clearly shaken by the experience, and soaked by the rain. The driver sat me in the cab, and put the heating on to warm me. He chatted easily all the way to Inverness, and calmed me down. He was definitely a calming influence. Thank you!

The mechanics here do an excellent job at very reasonable rates. Nothing is too much trouble, they are honest and trustworthy - above all they are knowledgeable and skillful. It might be a village garage but they have the latest equipment and know how to use it. Excellent recovery service too.
