Emission fix fitted without consent - what are my rights?
My local dealer has fitted the emission fix to my Volkswagen Passat without my consent. I am not happy about this, as I didn't want this work carried out. The dealer tells me that this cannot be undone, what advice can you give?
Unless the fuel consumption has risen or the performance has dropped off there is nothing you can do and no reason to do anything anyway. Obviously if performance is affected you have grounds to sue. So far, only Tiguans seem to be seriously affected.
