How should I maintain and service a Citroen Berlingo Multispace?
I've just bought a 2006 Citroen Berlingo Multispace 1.6HDI. What do I need to look out for in particular regarding timing belt changes, servicing schedules and brake disc and pad replacement?
The belts on these engines are generally long lived, but can fail as early as 60,000 miles so it's best to change it by then. See Berlingo entries in the car-by-car breakdown for more. This is the most widely fitted small diesel engine in the world and poses different problems in different cars, but for the number of engines out there the problems are relatively rare.
