Hyundai fuel efficiency service
Shortly after having our Hyundai i30 estate serviced we received an invitation on the garages letterheading for an additional ‘fuel efficiency’ service. (Unfortunately I threw the letter away in disgust so am unsure whether the terminology was fuel optimisation or fuel efficiency but you get the idea).
I emailed the garage to ask why this was not included in the normal service but some months later have not received a reply. Having been at the garage today on another matter I again raised the question only to be told that the letter came straight from Hyundai and to raise the matter with them. Surely when you put a vehicle in for its scheduled service it is reasonable to expect this work to be undertaken/included as standard?
This may have been a fuel system clean up that would not have been part of a normal service.
