When should I change the transmission fluid on a DSG gearbox?

My wife has a VW Polo 2015 with a DSG gearbox. I think DQ200 dry clutch. Owned since new only 50,000 miles. My understanding is that the gearbox is sealed for life. Also it’s a dry clutch. We are not having problems however if it’s worth servicing then I’ll consider this. I recall a while ago that you had an article which stated that the oil could be changed in part of the gearbox but was a skilled job not sure which part of the gearbox unit is affected. Do you recommend changing the oil? VW says it’s not necessary.
Although the DSG DQ200 gearbox uses dry clutches rather than wet clutches it still contains transmission fluid, and while Volkswagen suggest the unit is sealed for life, independent specialists suggest that changing the fluid can help prolong its life. We would suggest looking for an independent VW specialist or DSG specialist near you who can offer further advice.
