My car has some expensive maintenance bills this year - should I sell or keep it?

I own a 2019 Citroen C4 Cactus with 50k miles. This year it will need a new cam belt/water pump, full service, back and front pads and discs and possibly four new tyres which is going to cost around £3k. At present my car is valued between £7000 and £7700. Is it worth spending out or investing the cash into another car? I am doing about 20k a year so in a year it will have 70k miles.
This is a common dilemma for vehicle owners, particularly those who cover high mileages, as maintenance costs can easily stack up while the value of your car falls. Ultimately it is a matter of deciding whether your current car suits your needs both in terms of how it fits into your life but also how much it costs to run. The reality is that if you are covering 20,000 miles a year any car would eventually require the same work to be carried out and generally speaking the C4 Cactus is relatively inexpensive to service.
