How can I ensure a Ford Powershift gearbox remains reliable?

My daughter has a 2016 Mondeo with the Ford Powershift gearbox. She does 94 miles a day 4 days a week for work. I do her maintenance on her car and have recently changed the oil/fluid and filter in the gearbox. I did not use Ford own gearbox oil but used a recommended brand. I have read that this oil/fluid change has to be done every 33,000 miles, is there anything else I can do or need to do to keep the Powershift gearbox in tiptop condition please
Other than regular maintenance there isn't a great deal you can do, although you do have the option to change the oil and filter more frequently than the recommended interval for additional peace of mind. Using a non-Ford transmission fluid is fine as long as it exactly matches the required specification.
