Cheap to run but some annoying features.

I bought the car in December 2012. It goes very well and is extremely economical. I miss the Fabia, though, which I owned previously. It had more space and a better ride. My niggles with the Citigo are: it has a display which would give lots of information if I could read it. There seems to be no backlight and it is almost impossible to read it in daylight. There are problems with the central locking. There was only one remote key with it, and not two as with the Fabia, and more often than not the car refuses to start using the remote but goes into "safe" mode. The cure seems to be to get out, shut the door, lock it mechanically with the key and then unlock it with the key - a pest if you're in a hurry. There's no light in the boot and if you lift the parcel shelf to put anything in the boot you have to remember to close it again manually, otherwise you'll drive off and suddenly find you can't see out of the back window because the shelf is still standing up. Still, it's easy to drive, pulls very well, parks easily and is cheap to run.
