Fast and practical small car

I bought my JCW Countryman after several Land Rover / Range Rovers as I wanted a smaller / fun car as I retired. I bought it during lockdown and as such given that I was 'trading in' a range rover sport it was a bit of a gamble for me, but it turn out to be a great decision.

It is properly fast (0-60 in 5 seconds makes it as quick as a base level Porche Caman and quicker than a base level Porche Macan), and the four wheel drive makes it secure and rapid in real world driving.

It has been 100% reliable for two years.

I would view this car not as a small SUV, but a real world alternative to a two door sports car.

Two issues I would have with the car.

1 - There is no provision for a spare wheel, hardly unique to Mini I know, but it is a pain to have to carry a spare in the boot.

2 - The much advertised two years before your first service is not actually correct. My first service was due two years from when it was built, which because I had bought the car ex stock was only a year after it was resisted new. However service cost are not too expensive.

Overall a great car and good value for money.
