Relaxed and practical motoring.

Bought used at 3 years and a bit ex mobility car with LOW mileage c. 15000
No issues as yet with dpf at 6 years old at nr 50000 even ' with all those short journeys it must have had.

I'm tempting fate here but... no real issues yet. no major electrical gremlins etc...
used as a workhorse car, two small kiddies, town and country mpg realistic 40-44 mpg. better on M way obviously.

Performance ? adequate no more no less. Not embarrassed on motorway though, even loaded for holidays etc...
People buy these for practicality and long live the dying mpv, the fashion is for suv shape vehicles. I have never worked out why.
There is just a better use of space for the same footprint and weight with an mpv. Rear bench slides fore and aft and seats on mk 3 scenics can individually slide ( to aid shoulder room for larger children and adults). Boot the rights shape for family practicality a deep rectangular hatch. Full size spare. seats are heavy but removable . comfort fine even over large distances.
Now runs slightly smoother and quieter on Michelin cross climates as recommended by H J. Feels like car has more grip.
recommended if with better than full service history I.e plenty of oil changes . official Renault frequency Is the standard and daft 18 k, and of course check the history and receipts for issues but otherwise....I can't complain
6 years and no component issues, bearings , shocks, roll bar links, battery, etc... nothing. Just discs and pads. once and consumables... coolant, brake fluid, air con Regas - Once .

had the water pump and cam belt, aux belt done etc... this year but that's std advice.
check history and seller for known faults on these... electric parking brake £600 ? and dash tft screen £400 ?
A good one of these esp a diesel with the current climate affecting values downward.. could be a very good prospect as a family minded multi purpose car.
