A joy to drive

This is a lovely car. It has all sorts of bells and whistles (e.g. automatic headlights and wipers), which I very much enjoy but could manage happily without; but it also has the essentials: it is comfortable to drive, and very responsive. It feels like a good, solid car, yet without being at all heavy or sluggish to drive. I enjoy having a built-in GPS.
The downside is that it is relatively heavy on fuel by today's standards (about 23 mpg round town, and 40 on long runs), and fairly expensive to tax.
