very relaxing car!

I leased this car for 3 years to give myself the luxury of driving a latest model without forking out to buy one. I went for a Japanese car actually made in Japan and for a Mazda because I have owned an MX5 which was a delight to drive.
Front seat passengers have a panoramic view of the road and the dashboard is simple and of very high quality. Rear seats are not roomy and are probably better used by children than adults taller than about 5'6"!
The ride is excellent and encourages me to drive as though in a limousine rather than a sports car. The X engine is a strange beast; it often coughs briefly (when changing from spark ignition to compression ignition, presumably) and does not have much low down torque. Frankly I have not revved the engine over 3500rpm, so have not experienced what I am told is much better performance when revs are over 4000.
I am achieving an average mpg of 42.5, with longer journeys often showing well over 50mpg.
The head-up display is useful at reminding me to stay within speed limits!
My experience at my local Mazda dealer for the first service was excellent; the car was returned to me after being washed and vacuumed.
