'Scraping' brake discs?
On a damp morning the brakes have started to sound more scrapey that they have in the past on my MINI.
After a bit of driving it gets a bit better but the light corrosion across the disc remains on one of the rear disc only
20,000 miles on clock - about 2000 miles and two months since purchased from a MINI dealer.

On a clear, dry stretch of road with no parked cars around and nothing behind you, try braking hard from 40mph a couple of times. If the car stops straight and the surface rust gets cleaned off both rear discs then it's okay.
