Bought this car with 38600 miles on it and with a vw dealership full service history.
After 2 months without any warning of any impending problems it refused to start one morning.Mechanic diagnosed 3 bad injectors.Took injectors to a diesel specialist who said all 4 injectors needed to be replaced at a cost of £1000 . Got this done and 2 weeks later and EGR valve is now needing to be replaced.Car has now only done 40000 miles.
Last VW that I will buy.Been told by diesel specialists that these are very common problems on these engines.
