unflappable

This is a car that can do everything.

It makes a lovely noise, more petrol like than diesel, the interior is quiet more so than its German competitors.

It has everything as standard, rides great and I am getting 41MPG on mixed driving, and I do have a cast iron right foot.

We recently did a trip to France, 2000 miles in one week, coming home 14H spent in a car, the drivers seat is as comfy as a Volvo...no back ache what so ever.

It is HUGE inside but does not feel intimidating to drive, in the boot with the seats folded down I got 2 adult mountain bikes, a fridge, 2 dogs, luggage and enough wine to keep us happy for the next three months.

The satnav is very good, especially in Europe, but is a bit fiddly to use. The stereo is GREAT especially the sub woofer. Features like standard heated leather, xenons, a bug sunroof, self levelling rear suspension, allow this car to do any thing.

I will come back in a years time with any updates.

Car runs best with BP ultimate diesel, much quicker, nicer noise and better MPG.

PS buy the Feb 2012 onwards, as these come with a (free) package called etc, which keep your car paint perfect, sorts damaged alloys, pays for the 1st MOT and any work and a whole load of other bits.

I paid £24.5K for a 3 month old ex demo, with a boot liner, roof rack and a sump guard delivered with a full tank of fuel. Compare to an Audi A4/6 allroad/VW passat allroad or volvo XC70...good value for money with a cheap tax disk too.
