Handsome, very refined, comfortable, enjoyable to drive with stunning economy

This car replaces a C class Hybrid which covered 46k miles in 4 years. So far and only 500 miles in, the new CLA feels nicer to drive, is equally as quiet and refined at speed and the economy is jaw droppingly good. 210 mile journey yesterday on mostly motorway and dual carriageways gave 65.7 mpg. A cross city commute has also achieved 56.8 mpg. The seat is probably one of the most comfortable i have experienced and the lack of wind noise at speed is very impressive. Mid range power is very strong and is deceptive, overtaken vehicles become a dot in the rearview mirror surprisingly quickly. The 8 speed gearbox drops revs to less than 1500rpm at motorway speeds, but can be a little hesitant when pulling away from junctions. The multibeam headlights are simply brilliant and make night driving easier than usual. The LCD display on the dash is crystal clear and very adjustable, individual profiles can be saved for different drivers. So far very impressed indeed.
