Smooth, quick, sophisticated

Just picked this up so not much to say as yet.
Quicker than it looks and feels - not so much for a standing start (it’s a weighty beast) but very sprightly A-road overtaking performance. Plenty of road noise - though this is probably all the more noticeable because of a lack of engine noise - but a change of tyres may help with this.
I’ll update this review as the miles stack up.
UPDATE April 2020. Still enjoying my RX - it’s one of those rare cars which feels special every time I drive it. Feels very stable and planted even in strong winds and very heavy rain. Fuel consumption is steady at c30mpg.
UPDATE August 2021. Upgraded my rating to FIVE stars as this car is such a delight. Great service from Lexus Sheffield has made up for the bungling of the dealer in Le******r. Very smooth ride and despite coming from a much quicker car (BMW435d), I done miss it at all.
