Ticks most of my boxes for a very reasonable price

This replaced our 10 year old Renault Kangoo. We liked that it is a 7 seater but so far the extra seats have remained in the garage. Once installed there wouldn't be much storage space. I do miss the internal parcel shelf which the Kangoo had above the windscreen. The main irritation is that the rear doors open conventionally, whereas the sliding doors on the Kangoo make it so much easier to access front and back at the same time. Putting husband's crutches on the back seat while helping him into the front; transferring stuff from shopping bag on back seat to front door pocket, etc. The multi-taskers among you will understand my problem. Only other irritation is that if I don't hold the door handle just right I somehow manage to pinch my fingers in it, but at around two thirds the price of a Kangoo I have no cause to complain. I average 4.7 litres to 100 km for normal driving but this shoots up to around 5.2 if I am dashing to catch a ferry, pushing 130 kph on the autoroutes. Not a beauty to most people but it is to me.
