FAB

Great Car – I bought mine after having a MK1 TT (previously FTO, 2x MR2s, MX6, A6 etc)

Plus points:
Fab to drive and great steering.
Great sound from the engine with the window down.
Economical – I can get 42mpg.
Great looking and comfortable even with 18 inch wheels.
I’ve found mine reliable and cheap to own.

Bad Points:
Rain water can fall into the boot when opening.
Poorly position boot opener switch.
Poor MP3 connectivity

Faults I’ve had in 30K miles and 2 years:
Both electric windows failed. (common fault)
Coil packs replaced.(common fault)
Only uses a little oil.
Getting the plastic air box off to get access to the plugs/coil packs is a pig and really badly designed. (which is why mine has been cracked by some previous dealer)

Would I have another. YES probably the best car I’ve had.
(recently tried an RCZ but found it was like looking through a piller box, with a baulking gear change, slow and seemed to have thin paint. Going back to my TT was like putting gloves on – it felt so natural)
