Which sports car is the best investment?

I am in the very enviable position of spending up to £90,000 on a car and want something very sporty like a Lamborghini Gallardo. Although I need to want and like a car, what would you suggest is good at the moment to try and have minimal depreciation, or dare I say, appreciation? Anything considered but I'd like to drive it about 5000 miles a year for weekend use only. I'd also appreciate your view on the Gallardo.

Ferrari drop a bit, level off, then start going up. I don't think a Gallardo is such a good investment. Not long ago you could pick up a Ferrari 550 Maranello for £50,000, but you won't find one under £100,000 these days. Some people think that Porsche have topped, but a 993 (the last of the air cooled 911) might be a good place to put your money, as long as it isn't an automatic.
