Are clutch problems with the newer Nissan Micra K13 a known problem?

I own a 2015 Nissan Micra K13. After about a year and 35,5000 miles (still on warranty), the clutch in the car broke down and the local Nissan dealer refused to fix it on his own expense. I know how I drive, and have many years experience as a driver, so it is not because of reckless driving. I've read on this website that the faulty clutch on new Micra K13 is a known issue. Could you provide me any official sources that Nissan acknowledge this?

In the Good&Bad section: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/nissan/micra-k13-201.../ However, even though it's a known issue, the only manufacturers that warrant clutches for more than 6 months are Hyundai and KIA, who warrant them for 2 years.
