Stopping someone making a fraudulent claim for whiplash?

My housemate and I were involved in a minor collision last Saturday (My housemates' car and she was driving). The other driver drove into our car, not at speed at a roundabout and is now claiming for whiplash, headaches and other erronous damage to his vehicle. The damage to each vehicle was minor, only simply bodywork repairs needed. This claim against my housemate is fraudulant. Apart from the insurance companies battling it out, is there an independent third party who we can seek legal help from?

No. If you want professional legal help you have to pay for it. But there was a recent case where a driver fraudulently claiming whiplash got 9 months inside for perjury. Remind this man of that.
