Barcelona v/s Swindon

Very interesting decision. The Leon is geared at 25mph per 1,000rpm in 6th, while the Type R is geared at about 20mph per 1,000rpm. So if you regularly do distances the Leon will be much more relaxed on the motorway, and will be more economical: 30 – 35mpg v/s 20 – 25mpg for the Type R. Depending on the wheels and tyres on the Leon, the Type R may also be stiffer, with harder ride. And has two doors v/s four, so isn’t as good for carrying passengers. But the Type R engine is chain cam and the Leon belt. Hope that helps you decide.
