What would be the best PHEV or EV with enough boot space for two dogs and with 4WD for snow in winter?

A Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV would be a good choice. It's got a big boot and 4WD helps in the snow. PHEVs work best when they can be charged regularly, though - the Outlander will be pretty thirsty once the battery's flat, meaning it's not ideal for regular long journeys.
