How do we insure our twins on the same car?

We are lucky enough to buy our twin 17-year-old girls a new car for their birthday. However, getting them insured is difficult. Many insurance companies operate online only and the forms aren’t set up for this combination. When we speak to a member of staff on the phone they won’t insure both girls on the same car and, if they do, they won’t allow both to claim No Claims Bonus.

It's one policy, so you won't be able to claim more than one No Claims Bonus. You could have one daughter registered as the main driver and one as the named driver. The better way of doing it might be by having all your cars on a multi-car policy. The alternative is to contact a good insurance broker, which is the best way forwards in my opinion because they have access to policies that may not be on the internet.
