Kia Venga - 81.4% pass rate

The Venga’s 81.4 per cent first time pass rate is not exactly disgraceful, but it is still short of average. As with many others, the driver’s view of the road is a big reason for failure, with 9.7 per cent not making it through on that front, with the vast majority marked down for wipers.

Of more concern to owners will be the 3.0 per cent that fail due to suspension issues. A deeper dig into the data shows that if is the condition of the shock absorbers that is to blame, with 2.7 per cent failing on that front, which is seven times higher than the average.
