Arguably one of the most important lists in the MoT Files and the data here shows the 10 best manufacturers when it comes to 2010 registered cars passing the MoT at the first time of asking.

Suzuki 84% pass rate

Holding fifth place is Suzuki, with an average MoT pass rate of 84 per cent. Unlike its rivals - Honda and Toyota – Suzuki doesn’t have any outstanding performers (90 per cent+) but it does have a good representation in the upper tier, with both the Splash (pictured) and Jimny scoring 88 per cent for passing their MoT at the first attempt.
