Brian rang me to ask me if about some things he had noticed on my car explaining it wasn't serious and would last until my next service, I was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism would recommend his garage to anyone ??

I had some new Tein coilovers installed on my GT86 over the weekend from Powerhouse. I brought it in during the morning and it was ready by the afternoon. When I came to pick it up they explained how the characteristics of the car have changed and how to adjust the damping if needed. The invoice was clearly explained and the service from all staff members are always welcoming and friendly. The car now drives and feels so much better now. All my service and tuning will be at Powerhouse, no reason to go anywhere else. Top lads!

My car’s boot switch stopped working so I could only open the boot with the remote button on the keyfob. Brian and his merry men at Powerhouse immediately recognised the problem when I described it to them on the phone and were quick to test it / confirm it when they saw the car. They were very helpful and ordered, received and fitted the switch in less than 24 hours. The bill was very reasonable too. And all the people I spoke to at the garage were very decent, friendly people too. Highly recommended.

Where do i start? After being messed around by my existing garage for repairs that it now transpires didnt happen and parts that didn't exist, i was recommended the team at Powerhouse. I was immediately put at ease, talked through options, and updated at each stage, so i knew the cost, timescales and work undertaken, ensuring i was back on the road as soon as possible. They even rang the following week to check everything was ok. What a difference a good garage can make - my car went from being wrongly advised to scrap, to a perfect run around with genuine repairs and perfect MOT. I know Brian from racing and was prepared to make the 132 mile round trip two Saturdays running, firstly to clear faults using his diagnostic tester, he also sorted out a bulb fault and a DPF re generation. Whilst there he noticed my front suspension had failed. It was rather bouncy to say the very least. A superb job was undertaken from Brian and his apprentice Kyle. I will certainly be travelling the distance when my MOT is due for both vehicles I have.

They fixed a diesel injector seal leak that my servicing garage wasn't equipped for

I had a very trusty 2008 Toyota Verso bought from new and although it had clocked up over 245000 miles it ran well without any major issues since I bought it. One day the car car drove sluggish and I took it to Toyota who said it might be the fuel pump or something else but would cost over £500 for an initial inspection! My neighbour suggested taking it to KAM garages but that proved worse as I drove the car there but ended up getting it back on a recovery truck because they said it could not be fixed so I should scrap it! By chance the recovery guys from Shaks A1 Recovery services, suggested that I take my car to Powerhouse garage. So with nothing lose I had the Shaks A1 Recovery take it to Powerhouse. I was told that nothing could be certain other than them taking a look at the problem. A couple days later I got a call from Powerhouse to come and collect my car as they got it working and at less than half the price Toyota was charging! I was gobsmacked and extremely happy at what Brian and his team had managed achieve, a miracle in my view! We now have all our 3 cars serviced and taken care of at Powerhouse and trust no one else. My Toyota Verso has a new very happy owner, My Sister!. Brian and his team are excellent in every way and extremely knowledgeable on all makes of cars. I moved to Derby wary of finding a good , honest and trustworthy garage and I have been so fortunate to have found Brian and his team at Powerhouse. I have used Powerhouse to service my Subaru since I bought it last year. They have also carried out the jobs to get it through the MOT in July.
