In for an MOT (passed) he advised on what needed to be done and cleaned my window screens saying they were a little greasy

1 year ago I used this garage for an MOT. They called me up at work to inform me that the nearside headlamp wasn't adjusting (up and down) They said that they would put 1 hours worth of labour into it see if it was a sticky motor etc. They could fix it and said it would require a new motor but this isn't an MOT fail. with the car passed and no need to move the headlight down as I don't ever toe anything I was on my way. This year the car was pick up for having a loose headlight. No work has been carried out on this car anywhere near the headlamps. (4 new tyres and front and rear brake pads ONLY WORK DONE) When I explained to the MOT tester that they are the only ones to do any work on the headlight I was told "I don't remember what work I did on it last year (isn't this what records are for?) other than the lovely lady on the reception all the blokes are rude, don't want to explain there results and just hide away.

This place is run by the two brothers, Keith and Gary Wooster who took over from their Dad Tony a few years ago; they run an extremely straightforward operation, Gary tends to do all the MOT's, Keith and the other two mechanics look after all of the other work. These people really care about the work that they do; many of their customers are elderly and have been using the place for decades; they do not have a high level of sophistication, but their work is always good value for money and they will not allow you to waste money if it's "sending good money after bad", they'll always be upfront if there is a large shock coming over the cost of things.
