IVC, Nuneaton

Took my car in 09-11-22,in limp home mode,after visiting the garage a few days before,it was recommended by 2other garages,was told to bring it in this date. After 5 1/2 months he has never phoned me,I always phoned him,and was told after 8 weeks he had lost 1/2 his staff. The decent thing to do was to phone me and let me know,got told he is too busy to phone customers. He also told me they don’t do clutches,and after 5 1/2 months they told me it was an electrical problem,could have told them that. I know a few people who use this garage, and it seems if you are not in the ‘click’ he doesn’t want to know. Wouldn’t trust these with a push bike,let alone a car.

After having my Vauxhall Mokka looked at by my local garage who were unable to diagnose the fault and resolve, it was recommended to me by a work colleague to contact IVC in Nuneaton who are an independent Vauxhall specialist. I have to say, the service from beginning to end was first class. Wayne was an absolute gent and explained in layman’s terms exactly what they would be doing to try and discover the fault and the costs that were likely to be incurred. He also explained in detail to me once the car was fixed exactly what they had done. They had my car for a week, length of time mainly due to Covid restraints, but I was updated along the way as to where they were in the process. They pinpointed the fault, which required a large part of the engine being dismantled and fixed the acceleration issue I had been experiencing in a timely manner. Given the length of man hours they must have assigned to my vehicle, and the amount of replacement parts which were required, the final bill I received was substantially lower than what I was expecting. I would recommend anyone, not just owners of Vauxhalls, who require a professional and knowledgeable team to use IVC in Nuneaton. I’m not normally one for writing reviews, but I must say in over 30 years of owning vehicles this was without a doubt the best experience I have had with garages, not just in terms of pricing or knowledge, but the overall customer service.
