Front suspension broke just before Christmas and the car was towed to our local Ford garage. Due to closeness to the holidays we were warned that they might not be able to get spare parts before the hols. We were therefore delighted to be phoned he following day to say job done. They had gone out of their way to source parts and fitted them immediately. Even more delighted when the final cost was less than initial estimate.

Firstly the price was mis-quoted so I ended up paying a lot more than I was told when I booked the car in. However they do offer collection service, courtesy car (small fee) or drop you off after you take car in. Other franchised Ford dealers (Benfield) provide a comprehensive safety check sheet with a service but all I got from Inchcape was a stamp in my book. This may be down to Ford rather than the garage but parts have been an issue, interior light took 3 attempts to get correct one and in the end they changed all three so they matched. Driveshaft took around 8 weeks to arrive, but job done quickly once they told me part was in.
