Car went in for timing belt replacement as Howard's quote was significantly less than Western VW. Great service, dropped can off at 8.30am ready for 1.30pm. Genuine parts used.

Have used this local garage for over 15 years whenever I have had cars outside of manufacturers warranty. Howard's team seem comfortable with all makes of cars. They will discuss what they intend to do, recommend items that they think should be included and don't just take "customers' instructions". In August prior to a 2000 miles round trip to Bordeaux they advised that I had better have the timing belt replaced on my Mar 2008 Fiat Punto 1.4 16v. It was less than the stipulated 5 years or 40,000 miles but it was sound advice. I have had the car MOTed twice there and serviced once. In between I had a sod of a repair when a rear window winding mechanism failed. Not a lot Howard Selby's could do about the cost (£200), but the repair was done smartly and they delivered the car back to my office 5PM. I don't know what your complete criteria are but they will get my return business and recommendation to friends and neighbours. KenScotland
