MOT booked in with this garage through the AAsmatcare on my van. I had a call from the AA telling me it needed a power steering hose to pass its MOT. I queried this with the AA who told me that HI Tech had advised it was only available in once section and was very expensive, having no other option I advised them to go ahead with the work as long as I had the old power steering assembly back so I can inspect it. I have since pressure tested the assembly with no leakage or damage present . also the hose is available in three sperate section from a main dealer so if it was leaking why not identify where and fit only the part that was needed. Other damage was found on the van, wheel arch liner damaged and under front bumper. I have been back and forth with this thorough the AA but they advise me hitech deny all. I will now refit the old power steering assembly to prove that it is indisputable that the assembly was not needed. When I fit the old power steering assembly back on the vehicle i hope that they and the AA will take some ownership of this. Very disappointed

I broke down, car would not start, recovery company recovered me in and repair carried out very quickly at very good price. Previous repairs to my mondeo injectors and an air pipe after 1st.injector fault badly diagnosed by a ford agent who had to send all injectors away for testing, hi tec able to diagnose fault 1st.time. very reasonable labour rate which is clearly displayed in reception area
