Two cars bought and good deals struck with approachable sales guy. The service manager goes out of his way to ensure I get a good courtesy car and that my own is valeted after its service and recent 'advised' work on door drainage channels from the manufacturer. I feel valued as a customer and have no need to go elsewhere for servicing or my future new car.

Ordered a replacement key with remote from this dealer for my Seat Altea using the VIN number at full Dealer cost including programming charge paid in full in advance. The Key remote they tried to supply was incorrect and they were unable to code it to my car. They blamed the car and wanted me to pay them to diagnose the fault? I demanded a refund as the key and service was not fit for purpose but they refused because it was a special order? Local independent auto locksmith supplied and programmed the a key for half the cost within 2 days. I had waited a week for Hidsons. Nothing wrong with the car of course. I cannot recommend this dealers service, customer care or attitude. I spoke to Seat customer care who sided with the Hidsons and told me I didn't have a choice apart from paying the diagnoses charge. If you have to use them for warranty reasons then pay by Credit Card in case like me you need to go down the legal route for a refund. Alternatively avoid them like the plague.

Just had my Seat Ibiza second year service done by Hidsons. Friendly staff, good advice and competitive prices.
