"No Improvement "

All I can say is I put the car in for a service at late notice Friday and the guys got me booked in on the Monday thank you. Little bit of criticism is washer fluid low and not topped up as I would of expected. On checking the oil level the next day it was extremely low to the point where I had to go buy a ltr of this expensive synthetic oil. Courtesy car got me home and back lol ( obviously free ) and all at almost the same price as main dealer quote.! Just to add customer service was brilliant but looks like maybe they should have turned me away if it was going to be a rush job for them.! Sorry just to add also they didn't reset the service light ether Thank you Regards John the driving instructor

Parents had a clutch fitted. It failed within the warranty period but they refused to replace under warranty. Anyhow, had another fitted and within 24 hours car stopped. Aparrently gearbox coupling failure. Obviously complete denial of liability but only £35 to fix. Only afterwards did my parents discover that the quoted price did not include recovery - they forgot! Great garage as long as nothing goes wrong - but expensive. If it goes wrong expect abuse, excuses, to be treated like and idiot and then an even bigger bill. IN SHORT DO NOT USE

I have had two visits to Drive in when my local excellent mechanic referred me there because he felt unable to do the work. In both cases they investigated with great diligence and I was treated with significant courtesy as I was unwell at the time. If my local centre were no longer available I would happily make the additional 40 min journey to use Drive In based upon my experience.

I took in my Girlfriends car to Drive In shipley which had an engine warning light that came on, although it ran and sounded fine. after a few hours of leaving it with them they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it so they cleared down the error code to remove the light and sent us on our way (£40 down!) it came back on a few days later so we look it back, they said the same thing again, cleared the code but this time didn't charge us (rightfully so). It came on again a few days later so we took it back a third time; they told us this time that the head gasket had blown and that it needed replacing which was in excess of £1000. I asked them specifically if they had pressure tested it and it was definitely the head gasket and they said it 100% was. The car didn't show signs of typical Head gasket failure so I got in touch with a friend of a friend who was a mechanic (who I now use all the time) and he looked over the car for me. He said the head gasket was fine and it was one of the engine sensors that had been faulty! He ordered the replacement part for me which was about £17 and we replaced it together. He showed me how to do it and I fit it myself under his supervision. After we finished he cleared the code on his laptop and boom, i've never seen the engine light since. He didn't ask for any additional money but i handed him another £50 for saving me over £1000 from these cowboys! Be warned of this place, if they suspect they can make money out of you, they probably will!

Cars' pulling to the right was my instruction, can you look at the tracking? Sure, dropped the car off before work at 8.30 can returned an hour later to pay for the tracking and hand over 60 quid! Fantastically they'd preserved the same fault the car went in with, pulling to the left just the same. The data on the form revealed the numbers were identical to how it was with only very minor changes but these rocket scientists decided that computer says yes and returned it to the customer. Such lack of thought, communication and shear imagination is frustrating and it's why people have such a low appreciation of garages who continue to under perform.

Do not use this cowboy rip off garage .. It is a joke .. no proof of what's wrong with your car . No proof of your old so called repaired parts .If u love being fobbed off by a load of waffle and being charged as much for repairs as what it would to buy a new car then this cowboy rip off garage is for you . I should have took this to a blind deaf and dumb florist who would have fixed my car better than these so called professionals .. read other reviews and go to any other garage in shipley ... They have all heard of these cowboys ..They all say the same ... robbing cowboys .... STAY AWAY.. any good reviews have probably been written by them

We have been with the Drive In Service Centre since 2002. I took my MX 5 in to have the low beam bulbs replaced. They tried to mislead me that it would involve having the bumper removed and charged me 150% for than the dealership would have charged ( I checked). Before leaving I needed to get something from the car. The bumper hadn't been removed. I raised this with both Tony and Dave and they just laid it on thick. Needless to say this will be my last visit.

An independent service centre that can handle all makes and models. I have been using them for 8 years, for various cars, and they have always been quick, helpful and competitively priced. They get the required parts same day and always try to source generic products / components that are cheaper than manufacturer's original. Also very competitive for tyres. I always take my cars here for routine servicing as they are so much cheaper than dealers. I am currently paying approx £120 for a full service - compared with £265 at Ford dealer.
