Alan cut short his holiday to drive us over 400 miles back to our home in Wiltshire. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be forever in his debt for saving the day and transporting us along with our 2 dogs and campervan from Edinburgh. We had been informed by our breakdown insurance company that we may need to be transported by several recovery companies along the way home but Alan drove us all the way back in one journey. We cannot thank him enough.

I live 350 miles away from Cockburnspath, but if I were to live nearby, I would definitely use them, as they are not only very competent, but also totally honest and helpful.

Assisted me with diagnosing a serious fault, were excellent throughout.

I was on vacation and my wife made a quick trip to get some things for our 6 hr trip home when the breaks went out. She made it back safe and I found a leak in the break line. Called these guys and Collin the mechanic came out to our camp ground and fashioned up a replacement line in about an hour. Great to talk to even though he doesn’t like football. Saved us for sure. Just all around great service and a great price. The line he made was nothing short of perfection. Thank you!

Alan and his team at Cockburnspath should be very proud of the level of service they provide. Every aspect of the job was completed very professionally. My car was in for a service and MOT and any required repairs. I was given a courtesy car to allow me to do the school run etc, Before the MOT the car was thoroughly checked over and any issues were noted - I received a phone call telling me what was required, and how long it would take to get parts and the approximate cost. When I instructed them to proceed, they kept me informed at all stages and when the job was completed they took the time to show me exactly what repairs had been done and explain the reasons for the faults. The brakes were totally dismantled and stripped and checked and rebuilt and tested as a matter of course - something that very few garages do these days. All the fluid levels were checked - even the screen wash was topped up. I could not have been Happier!
